Restaurant Update: Zoey's Double Hex, A Sister Birthday-Bonding Affair

So Monday night I took Brie out for dinner for her birthday. I was planning on taking her to Bob's Diner which is the new place I'm obsessed with.

BUT IT WAS CLOSED WHEN WE GOT THERE. (By the way, the dinner was a surprsie for her from me. However, I certainly got a surprsied when I pulled into Bob's empty parking lot). Apparently they don't open on Mondays.
So it was really sad. And we drove around Manchester at loss... not knowing where to turn.... Alas, we found Zoey's Double Hex! (After finding The Perfect Wife to be close as well!)
In the end, it was worth the initial dissapointment in Bob's. We had a lovely evening! The menu? Oh, I thought you'd never ask....
I had a burger! With cheddar cheese, done medium-well (the waitress walked me through the various cooking prefrences. I'm so excited: I now have a burger cooking preference! :D ) Brie had a turkey burger with onions and sweet potato, I think.
Oh my gosh. Zoey's has conquered the potato. One of us got one of each: chips and fries (they home-make both) and AHHH THEY WERE BOTH SO AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!! I'm serious. The fries were full and melted in your mouth and the chips had a nice crunch/weren't overwhelmingly salty. You have to try both.
Dessert? OF COURSE! We shared....
are you ready for this? CHOCOLATE PEACN PIE WITH WILCOX VANILLA ICE CREAM AND WHIPPED CREAM.
It was amazing. And disappeared quite quickly and magically. :D I think Brie had a blast. I know I did. It was really nice sister-bonding time (since I can legally drive her around on my own now. Yay!)

We both want to go to Zoey's on the family's next dinner out. :D
