Mussels!

We tried mussels for the first time at home today. We cooked them in olive oil with lots of garlic, a splash of brandy and some fish sauce and they were delicious. We soaked up the juices with some nice bread. Mom and I had the majority of them. Brie was tentative (she had pasta for dinner), but tried a couple. She commented that she's sticking to shrimp for now. Mom and I agreed that the mussels were MUCH better than our clam endeavor.
