So as an initiative to eat more iron and vitamin B, the girls are planning on trying more shellfish. Today (Sunday) we attempted clams for the first time. I washed them and soaked them in cold, mustard water for 30 minutes. Mom boiled them for 4 minutes (till they opened). We soaked/ate them with a butter and spice sauce. They were mediocre, but the girls weren't too impressed. Our next shellfish endevour will probably be mussels.
I made a home-made bread that was devoured. Only three slices were left after dinner! I love making bread. :D
