Book Review: Julie and Julia

So this past summer a movie starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams came out named after its book origin. Julie Powel, author of said book and played by Amy Adams, is blatantly hilarious. Her success derives from the entertainment she produces by being so incredibly frank, you feel like her best friend. I gulped up the whole book over the course of this weekend (a record for my high-school career, I'd say, as far as pleasure reading goes...) and honestly, I realize I miss cooking. If you haven't noticed, my posts have been short and spread out, and hardly about endeavours within the kitchen.
