Valentine's/President's Weekend

The Lovebirds went out for Valentine's Day on Sat to their favorite Ye Olde Tavern. Daddy had a pasta dish with scallops, shrimp, lobster in a cheese sauce. Mom had a pork chop cake. They reported back that it was a wonderful evening. Brie slept over at Claudia's house; Lisa slept over at our house. The two of us went to Bromely and heard Mr. Muench's (english teacher at BBA) band play. It was cool.

Sunday--Mother Dearest made a baked, breaded cod-fish with baked asparagus and sautéed red and green peppers and rice pilaf. Yum. I made Never Fail Chocolate Chip Cookies for Dad. I put two of these giant babies in a bowl, microwaved them for a few seconds to get the chocolate chips melty, then topped it with B and J's New York Super Fudge Chunk Ice cream. It was greatly appreciated (but he went back for another cookie, after!)

The Lovebirds exchanged cards, as well. They wrote similar things to each other--it was cute! :P

Keep sharin' the love
