Mother Dearest's Birthday

Yes, can you believe it? She's reached year 51 (though I'm not supposed to publicize that... shhhh!) Saturday evening Father took her out for dinner to their new favorite--Ye Ole Tavern. The menu?

Appetizer- Brie with apples and bread
Entrées- Mom: bouillabaisse, Dad: (he didn't have the exact name) A seafood and pasta dish with cheese sauce. (Apparently it was delicious)
Desert: (I'm also lacking a title here) A yummy Chocolate "cake-sort-of-thing" (According to Dad)

All-in-all, sounds scrumptious to me. Meanwhile...

Brie had Claudia over, and I catered to the girls, making a pizza topped with tomato sauce, cheddar, mozzarella, onions and sausage. Mmmmm :D They watched "Drake and Josh's Christmas" (or something) and the end of "High School Musical Two" (again!), while I sort of watched and was online.

Today, after a day of work, Mom made a delicious eggplant lasagna (for us two, then a regular meat lasagna for Mushroom-Hater (aka Brie) and Meat-Lover (aka Dad), for her Birthday dinner. What a woman! Quelle Macho Mom!

She opened her cards/presents before dessert, and was delighted. Then I had my favorite dessert which is yogurt, bananas, frozen berries, granola, and chocolate chips in specific, layered order. Oh man oh man oh man.... yum.

But besides that--I think Mom had a wonderful Birth-weekend! <3
